When thinking about ordering consider the flavor combinations you would like.
Any flavor cake ever had, can be made into a cupcake... and even some not considered.
For example , I made watermelon flavored cupcakes, with watermelon whipped icing and even watermelon flavor sprinkles.
The cupcakes can be just cake, or they can also be filled.
Creme fillings are usually a pudding, whipped creme type or icing type creme. Flavors can be made for just about any thing you'd like. When thinking of fruit fillings, best thing to keep in mind is if the fruit can be made in a pie, it can be used to fill the cupcake.
Frostings/ Toppings can be a variety of whipped to creamy icings or a syrup drizzle and even a ganaché. Flavors are, as with any part of the cupcake, only limited by your imagination!
A variety of toppings can be used for garnish as well- what would you top off your ice-cream with?? :)
** Please note, since our cupcakes are made to order, price would depend on the complexity of the order and of course the number needed.

For starters Duane and I have been thinking about buying a camcorder/digital recorder. Couple that with this crazy idea I got while at the book store-..well.... you'll have to wait and see.
I bought a book of 500 cupcakes and thought, as inspired by Julie & Julia- maybe I could make all 500 of the recipes in a year?? And Duane following me around with the recorder?!?! yeah that's a brilliant idea! LOL ....
So, I've concluded that to make 500 cupcakes in a year I need to average about 40 every month- possible 2 a day so that I can some breathing room. The only problem is who is going to sample all these cupcakes? Duane will probably ,but he's not going to be able to eat them all! Looks like I have to call on all my friends and family. When they get tired of sampling, I can also take them to places like the soup kitchen maybe??
It would be great to someday start a cupcake bakery. I've thought about this well over two years now. The new show about the cupcake place in DC is really an inspiration as well. Maybe some day....
To complete this challenge, the injury & chronic pain from the accident is an obstacle as well ,but I can still try and make certain accommodations to help me through. Heading into the holidays I think is a good time to start. Cupcakes can be frozen & then made fresh for when you need them. I think they'll also make great gifts!!

Basically I make gourmet cupcakes. The idea for this blog came from selling the cupcakes literally out my "Back Door". I do it as a hobby and will make whatever flavor combinations you can think of. We do not make cakes or pull-a-parts. The cupcakes are delicious looking on their own and can be displayed as well. These are gourmet cupcakes all about the taste, not the decoration ~ decadence for the mouth!
Although cupcakes are the primary sellers, I have a partner who makes tantalizing fruit Pies and the best apple dumplings too!
There is an "adult" line of cupcakes- meaning cupcakes made from alcohol, like pink champagne, mimiosa, pina coloda, and margarita just to name a few.
~ ♥ These are NOT your momma's cupcakes :) ♥ and not for children!
Why Flirtatious Creations? That is a brand name carried through out the internet used for the graphic design and web designing I did for years. Works well with the "adult" line of cupcakes too ;)
